This mode of development and OBC is slightly different from the Business plan, although it has similarities it is centered on precision and clear-cut investment narrative only. An Outline Business Case (OBC) projects the preliminary insight into a proposed project. We ensure that it contains the information needed to help the client make decisions regarding the adoption of the project. We ensure that all submissions outline the outcomes, benefits, and potential risks associated with the proposal.
Our OBC will help the decision-makers make the best decisions regarding which projects to support or reject; to achieve value for money (VFM) over the whole life of the project. The Financial structure will help model and calculate the likely total cost of funding while generating outline cash flow statements covering the project’s life.
Our OBC come in two categories and maybe a brief conceptual document. However, as time passes during a study by the investor; project enquires or adjustable may suffice and the OBC will need to be revised into a much more extensive Business Case which becomes the blueprint for the investment decision.
